We Need More of These.....
Holidays?? Yep maybe ;-) No we need more male teachers!! Is it just NZ? or are we short of men in the classroom everywhere?

Going Going Gone Men in Primary Teaching in NZ an occasional paper by NZEI it found men don't want to go into teaching because: A physical contact B perceived lowly status of primary teaching as a career C unattractive salary
Between 1992 and 2001 the number of women increased by 13% and men decreased by 9% Men leave teaching to get better jobs!
But I actually know the biggest reason mean leave teaching... at work they only get to talk to women! Cheers

Ha ha, speaking from experience huh? :-) Don't blame them - maybe that is why our young maori boys don't hang around for too long at school either!
